How sick is Germany’s healthcare system? - The Local
During the US health care debate, the German system was often cited as a successful model. However, what many pundits forgot to mention is the fact that successive German governments, both loft- and right-of-center,have been reducing the government's direct exposure to the system, i.e, how much the government will be willing to pay by creating retrenchment policies in this policy area.
